MumMum: Kenny Rogers Roasters
Kenny Rogers ROASTERS
Roast chicken anyone?? Kenny Rogers Roasters is a franchise from USA originally set up by popular Country and Western singer Kenny Rogers and former Governor of the state of Kentucky John Y Brown Jr in 1991. Now, it can be found in Malaysia.
The restaurant offers a variety of ala carte and chicken set meals. Choices range from salad, soup, sandwiches, roast chicken, pasta, and desserts. Their most popular order is Kenny's Chicken Meals with a choice of original, black pepper or smoked bbq. However, the restaurant was promoting their limited offer of Golden Temptation - Kenny's Phoenix Chicken.
Black Pepper Chicken
Smoked BBQ Chicken
Phoenix Chicken
Kenny's Chicken Meals are accompanied by 3 sides dishes and 1 Kenny's Home-made muffin (chocolate raisin, banana raisin or vanila) However, as there was a promotion for Golden Temptation, a limited offer of orange muffin was on the menu.
Country Style Soup (soup of the day) and Minty Passion Mocktail. The soup of the day - cream chicken soup which was accompanied with garlic bread. Minty Passion Mocktail was very refreshing, a blend of fresh mint leaves and carbonated soda.

MumMum: Kim Tavern @ Sunway Carnival Mall
Kim Tavern @ Sunway Carnival Mall
Kim Tavern which is located in Sunway Carnival Mall offers mainly local delights, some western and japanese cuisine as well as finger food. We ordered Capsicum Prawn Fried Rice, Dry Curry Chicken Bento, Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken, Seafood Tom Yum Noodles and Honey Pepper Roast Chicken Drumlets.
My personal favourite is their Seafood Tom Yum Noodles which has the right amount of spiciness, sourness and sweetness. Lovers of tom yum should really try it. Another must try is the honey pepper roast chicken drumlets. It is one of Kim Tavern's speciality. Their capsicum fried rice is simple and nice. It goes well with their home made sambal chilli. Those who loves curry should try their dry curry chicken bento and nasi lemak curry chicken, it has a strong aroma and flavour. Perfect accompaniment with white rice.

HandHand : Ribbon Flowers
Ribbon Flowers
Items needed:
Ribbons (Different width sizes)
Button
Needle
Thread
Glue
Craft pin
Scissors
Step 1:
Cut the two different ribbons into 3 equal lengths. Make sure that the ribbon with a wider width is longer than the thinner one. I cut mine 22cm and 18cm respectively.
Step 2:
Take one ribbon, fold it into half and make a crease. Then fold both sides of the ribbon to the crease line.
Step 3:
Make sure that the ribbon overlaps each other. Then sew it to secure the shape of the ribbon. Use normal stitches, up and down making sure that each stitch secures the ribbon.
Step 4:
Take the second ribbon and repeat Step 2. Then put it across the ribbon made in Step 3. Sew it together to secure the shape of the ribbon.
Step 5:
Take the third ribbon and repeat Step 2. This time put the ribbon diagonally on the ribbon made in Step 4. Sew it together to secure the shape of the ribbon. You have made the base of the flower.
Step 6:
Take the thin ribbon and repeat Step 2 - Step 5. You have made a flower.
Step 7:
You can secure a coloured button in the centre by sewing or gluing it onto the ribbon. Now you have a ribbon flower!!!
Step 8:
You can sew the flower onto your bag, glue a craft pin behind and use it as a brooch or pin it on your favourite purse.
Use your creativity by mixing and matching different types, patterns and coloured ribbons to create a variety of ribbon flowers. Here are some examples to start you off.
