CloseUp: Nagore Road, Penang

CNY Street Decorations @ Nagore Road, Penang

Chinese New Year is just around the corner.... shopping malls and restaurants are decorated with bright red lanterns and you can hear Chinese New Year songs in every shop you walk into.

I happen to pass by Burmah Road.... and behold... my eyes was mesmerized by the beautifully lit up cherry blossoms on Nagore Road.

Do you think they are pretty?? Here are more pictures of them...

CloseUp: Ladybugs

LADYBUGS

Reminiscence of the past......

I used to play with them in my grandfather's garden. I like to catch, keep them in a bottle, feed it and finally release it. Now...... due to urbanisation we seldom see ladybugs in our backyard or garden anymore.

I was excited to stumble across two ladybugs while taking a stroll around Pulau Betong in Balik Pulau. Lucky me!!! I could not stop taking pictures of them. Notice the difference in their SPOTS??
