MumMum: Hainanese Delight @ 1926 Heritage Hotel, Burmah Road
Hainanese Delights @ 1926 Heritage Hotel, Burmah Road
The first thing that comes to mind about Hainanese cuisine is the famous Hainanese Chicken Rice. Interestingly, Hainanese cuisine in our country is a unique fusion of Chinese, Nyonya and Western cooking. No matter where the origin of the food is... to me as long as it tastes good, we should never miss the chance to savour delicious food.
Inchee Kay Bin (Deep Fried Chicken Marinated with Five Spice usually served with Worcestershire Sauce)
Hainanese Assam Fish (Spicy & Sour Fish Curry)
Menu
Hainanese Delights is situated at the Ground Floor of 1926 Heritage Hotel.
The hotel is beautifully decorated with paintings featuring some of the heritage sites in Penang which are influenced by the British colonial architectures.
